Saw my First Brood Today

    I saw a hen with 11 or 12 little ones today. They were standing in the road and I had enough time to count the little ones twice before they scurried off. I have raised pheasants in the past, I would say those little guys were maybe two days old at the most. That is a good sign and the earliest I have ever seen a brood I think.

    Now they are everywhere. Last weekend I saw a brood that was the same size as the brood I saw in May. Pheasants are amazing with their ability to renest. Should be a good MN season this year
