A few Dec. roosters.

I hope I don’t bore you guys with my rooster reports?? If I do just give a shoot out and I ‘ll slow it down a little.
Anyway with deer season close and early ice here for us I know my time chasing upland will be very limited from here on out.
Cole and I got out both Sat and Sunday morning for a few hours and shot 2 roosters each trip.All 4 birds were over my female setter,my male setter just couldn’t find any roosters for us to shoot at.

Never boring reports, just wish I was down there hunting with you.
It is always great to see a father and son getting out together.

Yep, gonna try busting through the ice and snow from last weeks storm. They are telling us to watch the dogs feet as the ice has been cutting them up a little. We’ll see how it goes.

I was out yesterday afternoon at my Dad’s (near Rush City) Saw about a dozen and got my 2 in about an 1 1/2 hours. Would have been quicker if I hadn’t muffed a couple opportunities. Daisy the GSP had some absolutely awesome points! She is really coming along. I gotta remember my camera next time I go.
