Who is going chasing Roosters?????

    Who is all going to be out chasing those wiley rascals this weekend !

    I’m headed out Saturday for sure after beng out on the Pond Friday night! I’ll be down just West of Mankato!

    Sad to say that I don’t think I will be doing any hunting until November . The corn should be down by then I am going to try to make it up north this weekend for one day of fishing on Saturday if the warden lets me out. I have not been up to the cabin for months and I am going through withdrawls.

    I’ll be out for the weekend then to ML sun. night-thu. Gotta luv this time of year!! The dogs are ready to go…pulled the shotgun out this morning…they went NUTS! I step outside and they stand by the tail gate, amazing how they know.

    We’ll be hittin a few sloughs around Roch…….Lost some of our prime land to leaser’s this year , so we might end up trying to find some ducks or geese in the afternoon

    we were doing a little puddle jumping for duck hunting and we jumped up 15 pluse rosters within about a 4 hour span out by willmar MN so the season is looking very good this year

    Count this guy in. The roosters in the Benson area are in trouble. There will be about a dozen of us hunting 600 private acres of pheasant heaven.

    I too will be out on the Big Pond Friday night with Fisher Dave, Walleye GFA, MT Net, and a moderator from “another place” and then chasing Roosters at my Dad’s on little to no sleep Saturday.

    Could be a little soggy at the folks place. They got nearly 9″ of rain last week

    I’M pretty excited as it looks the wife and I will get a chance to go hunting for the first time ever on sunday, phesant, I gotta borrow a couple guns to go too. I’m not totally prepared for it, havent shot a gun in around 10 years.. hopefully we atleast scare something up.
    doubtful ill be able to kill it anyways. wish me luck
