    I think that gun safety certification is if you are born after Jan 1, 1967.

    I know , I know
    I just remember seeing my first rooster and thinking wow, only to shoot and watch the birds legs drop. I shot it in the after finding it and ringing his neck, I was thinking a bird this beautiful need a clean kill.

    Thanks for the pointers Ron. I’m a rookie to bird hunting so the shooting advice is appreciatted. Keep it coming! The local DNR office will issue replacement Hunters Safety cards for $2.75, I made the mistake of catching them over their lunch break yesterday, I’ll be trying again today.
