Man! The boy has done it now! Been taking the boy out hunting, getting him in good positions, handling the dog, letting him get some good shots. Being the “Good Dad” don’t ya know???

Well; I am working yesterday. Buddy of mine takes my son out hunting and he gets a couple. NOW the little [censored] has the nerve to give me crap about him getting more birds than me! As Yosemite Sam would say, “OOOOOH! Them’s Fightin Words!”

Time for Tucker and I to get a little one on one time in on these birds!

Theres nothing like seeing all your work pay off when the son you’ve taught to shoot straight shoots birds and rabbits on his own. My boy started loading shells with me then it was taking the favorite dog out when his buddy and him went hunting on thier own and they came close too or often enough limited out. The funs just begining and its worth it.

Enjoy APRock. That what is is all about. I can not wait for my kids to get to that age and we can spend time in the field together.

The way I look at it is: [talking about fishing tournaments] if someone is going to beat me I hope its my son. And it usually is. Thanks, Bill

Taught the boy to shoot. NOW I got to teach him a little humility.

Actually couldn’t be prouder. When he settles down and “gets in the zone” the kid’s a better shot than I am most days.

I shoot trap all summer and come fall my Dad is still a better shot than me. There is no bragging for me when we go hunting. However, last year my brother and I fished our second walleye tournament. My uncle and Dad fished the same tourney. We weighed 6 fish for two days and they got skunked. We can’t rub it in too much because we still need to borrow my Dad’s boat again next year.
