4 of us are headed out to the Willmar-Ortonville area this weekend for some pheasant hunting. We hit the Paynesville area last weekend with only 1 bird to show for it and 5 others seen. If anybody has any tid bits of info they are willing to share it would sure be great. I’ve got the PRIM maps and there is definatly plenty of land for a guy to hunt. Just a matter of where to start.
We gave it our all sat and sun and managed to see a few birds, but it was not what we had expected. The highlight of the weekend (for 3 of us anyway) was watching the 4th guy and his dog get sprayed by a skunk. Thankfully he had his own truck.
