I live in MN and plan on buying an Iowa pheasant license this year, the daily limit in Iowa is 3 birds, the daily limit in MN is 2 birds. Here is my question, if I start out hunting in Iowa and get my daily limit of 3 birds can I head into MN and continue to hunt? Let’s say I get 3 birds in Iowa and 2 birds in MN, on my way home I get checked by a MN game warded, because I have a MN and Iowa license would I be legal or would I get busted for 3 birds over the limit?

Steve, when you cross the border, put a little gas in your truck, save your receipt and you will be just fine.I know from doing it a few times that you need the proof of being in the state.Stuart
