    Sounds good as I will have Mondays off, as for the dogs we could hunt them separately switching them off, I think once you hunt pheasants behind a pointer you will become very spoiled.
    If you hunt ducks I can understand why you have labs.

    I have hunted over pointer before and its not bad in any way. The friend I go with has a pointer to but we usally just use her for grouse and woodcock. As far a pheasants go another friend of mine has a pointer and we run them together. She is a longer range dog when she goes on point my dog flushes it. the birds she by-passes my dog will find. The only reason I Like a flusher more than a pointer is the surprise. You still no there on to somthing you just dont no when or if its going to happen. That is what I like about flushers.

    I dont run labs either I have chesepekes. My youngest even goes on point somtimes with those stuborn bird, its a sight to see, a chesepeke on point. Then I send her in and the rest is history, some time I even get to shoot em. Any way Mondays will work when we get started down there I will make sure to get in touch with you. By the way all I have to hunt for land is public. We usally dont have problems getting birds though. Talk to you soon

    Hey Steve,

    We’ll have to hook up towards the end of December once I start break. We usually have pretty good luck just drivin around and knockin on doors that late in the season .

    I love late season roosters!!!

    TFC = Total Fish Count

    Yep, that’s the total number of fish I caught since march 1st

    Starting this weekend, I might need to add a TRC (Total Rooster Count)
