Sounds cool. I got all 8 I put out on Sat. I’m really pleased with my dog and ready to commit her to a life of pheasant hunting.

    Putz,
My first two shots are just tracers after that is time to get serious.
    Bigfife,
Glad that you shot great for three shells. As someone once told me-you have more luck then brains
I am so ready to watch the dogs work and to smell some gun powder!!

Ooh Hoo! More sleepless nights ahead. Tomorrow is yard work and Wednesday is for cooking as the weather turns cooler. A double batch of chile and a double batch of chicken noodle soup with turkey pastromie (sp?, where’s spell check?) sandwiches washed down with some Mich Golden’s and we are in business. Suzuki, can you feel the tremors from Cottage Grove in Woodbury this time?
My ranking would be deer gun opener, pheasant opener, fishing opener in that order only because fishing lasts longer. Any other opinions?

I feel em. I’m grouse hunting this weekend just to stay out of you pheasant hunters way. I’m pretty sure I’ll be joining your ranks though. Hopefully for the next decade.
I’m tied up the next two weekends so I won’t even have a chance to chase ringnecks until the end of the month and
before/after deer season. I do have a couple ‘spots’ just over the Wi border I will probably hit next week during the week for a quick hunt. Good Luck!!
