Dang. It’s suppose to be 80 even up north this weekend. Oh well. Openers are like that once in a while. At least no rain. Read in the Outdoor News yesterday that north shore grouse are nearly non-existent. It was like that 3 years ago when I swore not to return until the numbers rebounded. The cycle theory is certainly not exact science as they seem to have been on bottom a few years in that area. Can’t wait til there back up there. Once of my favorite areas. I know where some are though. Crows aren’t safe this weekend either…….

One more thing fellers. It’s gonna be hot. Carry some water with you if your going to be far away from vehicle or there is any chance you could get lost. Just throw a bottle in your game bag. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been a few miles from the truck on a hot grouse day dying for a drink. Never again. Maybe.
