Where are the lakes?

There are literally dozens of good Bass Pike walleye and trout spots within an hour’s drive….not to mention you are less than an hour from Green Bay.
The DNR office in Felch will give you all the maps and info you need.
Hardwood Impoundment(reservior) and Gene’s Pond(reservior) are two good ones.

Happy to help. I run a guide service out of Iron Mountain…there is little of the “normal” resort area/chamber of commerce info on fishing and hunting available in this area. Walmart has put most of the old established tackle shops out of business, but there is a lot less pressure on the fisheries so the Pike, Bass, Panfish and trout are abundant. local walleye fisheries are lacking in recent years.
