too many goals at work. goals for fishing enjoy it and have fun.

X2 on this. Sometimes it’s good to have goals but when the end of the season comes and some of the goals are unmet, it can just add to the letdown.

Reminds me of an old joke…

“I’m guessing you’re not here for the hunting…”

    Never mind, long story. whistling

    1. Try and master the jigging rap for walleye in open water.
    2. Drop shot for bass
    3. Take my nieces out fishing “with out electronic toys to distract them”
    4. Having my first baby due in beginning of November and I would like to excel at being a great daddy. Actually probably should have made this goal #1.

My season goal is to actually get out and fish more than a few P4 tourneys. With my first child born last week, I feel like it is a good starting point!

My goals are to explore a new portion of Nipigon. Along the way I want to catch a trophy brook trout, 24″+, find some new trophy pike spots and the usual goal: catch a 25-30# pike, 50″+. Since I only go up once a year I have to pack this into a small window and I need generally stable weather when I go to be able to get out into the lake without pounding myself and my boat. Should be challenging and fun.
