Just saw on the local Duluth news that 646 protesters were arrested for marching on I-94 last night. Was there any damage to property or was it just a march? No need to harsh over the reasons for the march, we have done all that in the past. I’m more interested in learning if there was property damage and if anybody thinks this will continue into the weekend.
I’m guessing Walz has the National Guard in town or at least put on notice?

Peaceful protest that was planned ahead of time that ended in citations for blocking traffic on 94. Watched it live for a few moments on utube. Seemed very peaceful on both sides.

I know some youth who take part in these things. I ask them, do you feel employing 20th century tactics in todays modern world is an intelligent thing to do? Upsetting other community members, disrupting their lives makes sense to you? You wonder why there has been zero lasting change in any policy since BLM started. Because all it is, is emotion. There are no leaders stepping up and creating the moral arguments that need to be had for people to latch onto. Emotion will wear off, but that logic is what creates change.
Lincoln in the frederick douglas debates made sound, legal, logical arguments. MLK, even better ones for his time. And we wonder why these people succeeded on the levels they did? Don’t you want to replicate something like that? It is an abject failure on the part of America’s black leadership to not take the reigns at any point during all this and create those arguments.
That is of course, there are sound logical arguments to be had this time?

One difference is voter fraud was claimed 4 years ago too. There was a commission put together to investigate it and they found nothing.
