I tested positive for Covid and I’m stuck here without much I can do. It can be a rough day for over sensitive snowflakes. Unproductive days like this brings out the grumpy old man personality. This might be my platform today

The owner/operator of any telemarketing company should be required ti complete an extensive competency exam prior to the first call being placed – then, just maybe we would know if they understand what a NO CALL LIST is. Then let me examine their dead brain

My Daughter who is away at college ( Duluth ) tested positive for covid this morning as well. They make students who test positive leave their dorms and go to an apartment they have set aside for those with covid. She is rather sick and not feeling well and they want her to pack up her own bedding, cloths, and food and relocate to the apartment that is a fair distance from her dorms. Her roommate has diabetes so she feels like its the best thing to do. I just feel bad that she is 3Hr’s away and not much I can do to help. She only needs to quarantine till Friday morning. She’s really upset most about missing 3 days of work. She was home ill with influenza A during the Christmas Break and also missed lots of work. She was excited to stay there over the long holiday break and work lots of hr’s and ended up missing 10 days of work. That kid just cant seem to catch a break this year when it comes to her health.
If a woman gives birth to her second kid and is on ANY form of assistance$$$ she gets her tubes tied before leaving the delivery room. She can have 2 that we get to pay for, no more than that.
Same goes for the father. Snip snip.

As for Covid – I’ve had the shots so so I’ll leave it to the snowflakes and Trumpers to argue if it’s worth it or not. I had a crippling migraine for about 4 days and my taste/smell is off. Last two days wicked tired and now I’m just irritated and pissed about the inconvenience in life this is causing. Way too much to do and this is having a bigger impact on others that are trying to help

There was a lady on the news a while back that makes a ton of money off this. She basically reports them all and they have to pay huge fines. I believe shes made 10’s of thousands of dollars off of it.
All people on public assistance need to be drug tested. If found to be on drugs – No more $. Most working people are subject to drug test so why not them being I and fellow tax payers are paying them.
Drug and alcohol dependency should not be considered a disability for social security disability. Nothing worse than working at a bank and cashing larger checks for a 22 year old drug addict than for a 75 year old who worked their whole life.

You should not be able to collect unemployment if you have a seasonal job that you know you will be “laid off” from each winter. Don’t care that you “pay into it”, it’s still a burden on the system. Save your money from your working months to get by when you’re laid off or get another job.

Not sure I agree … regardless, my “unpopular opinion” here is that younger generations (i.e. Gen Z and Millennials) don’t seem to know a heck of a lot but like to put on a front as if they do – and smile when they do it. They are way too eager to turn their backs on the experience and knowledge of previous generations and way too quick to adopt anything that is labelled NEW. Way to toss the world into chaos guys!

I’ll agree to 70. There are some super grumpy 65 year old guys/gals that can urine in any snowflakes Cheerios yet at that age.

This would never work. They have to come to my house twice a day sometimes because they cannot fit all the packages in their cars as it is. With all the Amazon deliveries and the stuff from FedEx/UPS that ultimately get delivered by USPS they are swamped.

Ya she’s having some bad luck with illness this year for sure. She just face timed me from the apartment that she has to quarantine in till Friday. She’s not a happy camper to say the least. My wife is also really ill right now. She gave in and went to the Dr. yesterday. Her Covid test is still pending. On several meds and an inhaler. The chest xrays came back clean so that’s good news. I feel like there is a black cloud over our house these days.
