As I posted in the original Green Bay post this is a sign up for those that want do a Door Co. GTG this year…
A bunch of what we decide to do here, cost and lodging deals etc.,is based on the the actual number of people….

1)…How here many would be willing to pay fee(small I hope when divided by X amount)for a non-guided trip??
Keeping in mind shelter’s,equipment and such would not be included in the price..

    2) How many people would need a room…and how much is too much?

    3) We wing it and do what we can?

Let me know guys and gals….the sooner we get a grip on how many we are dealing with the better.. grin

There will be two of us and will not need lodging nor any guild services except for possibly being put on a spot. That being said I am more than willing to contribute towards a guide pool. I will have a tracked ATV and platform sled to shuttle others and their gear out. I can also punch holes and even drop a camera to take a look. I believe you want to fish over rubbaly terrain, not sandy flats, that the gobies hang out in.

Put me down for 2 people that are fishing for sure. Not sure if my wife will fish.
I am willing to front money to a guide.
The shacks? Either works for me. I have 2 portable flip overs to use as well.
I will also have a 4 wheeler with a trailer if needed.
Lodging- I believe my wife made reservations at the AmericInn. We are going to arrive early Saturday and leave sometime on Monday.

I will be one guy with a dog and his portable… and room cost is not a make or break point for me( if you get that?) but am not interested in paying for a guide. I am good and will go with the flow… I will have a small grill so I can eat when I need to ( med. reasons) but we could use it for lunch also.

I just wanted to clarify about what exactly what Paul would provide..
This is only for the transportation on and off the ice with our own equipment….he would put us on a known spot away from the crowds…
This is not a guided trip…

The cost would be dependant on how many people.but I’m sure it would be reasonable….

Dates again please? There’s at least 2 of us interested in driving up to fish Saturday. Ice transportation is needed, sounds like it’s definitely too far to walk. Do you tip those #3 jigging raps with any meat for whities? I’m guessing we should have some minnow heads along if walleyes are present or are they just a bonus when targeting the whitefish?

I’m in for Saturday the 28th.

    1) I would contribute to some sort of ‘guide’ and/or travel on ice. I don’t have ATV or snowmobile. I know what I’m doing and have all the other necessary equipment so being put on a spot would be nice.

    2) I’ll drive up from the Fox Valley for the day so won’t need a room.

The of us are going to be there. No transportion onto the ice so a ride is a good thing. May stay 1 night. Are there any plans to go out Sat. night?

O M G! The whitefish are on fire on Green Bay, there is a nice layer of snow on 12″ of ice, and I can hear birds singing. This looks to be an awesome year and an awesome GTG possibly rivaling lake of the woods. Space for this spectacular event is still available. Be part of a history making event, two lucky winners will be announced at the beginning to have their picture taken with renowned ice fisherman mudshark. Do not let this once in a lifetime opportunity pass you by.

I’m in, and leaving from the twin cities (stillwater). I could bring a portable if needed. Might bright up 1 or 2 other people. I don’t have transportation out on the ice other than a 4 wheel drive jeep (or nordic ski’s I suppose). Staying at a friends house.

If we do go in on a “guide” or some type of outfitter I’d be happy to pitch in.

Seriously thinking about going. I would pitch in for Paul to put us on a good spot. Never fished Green Bay before..I think this will be a lot of fun especially if Castle Rock Clown is gonna be there…LOL. I do have a couple quads just trying to figure out if I stay a nite how I can stay out on the ice all nite. Don’t wanna stay at a motel cause can’t fit all my ice fishing stuff in my truck and don’t want anything stolen at the motel. Also would have atleast 2 of my boys with me.

By the 24th of Jan. or so we might have a much better idea of what,where,how…..
