Underwater lake trout strikes video

    Amazing point of view!! See how it looks like when lake trout bite your bait and how they fight underwater. It shows how a lake trout reacts to different speeds. We were trolling for lake trout using a variety of baits including bondy baits, spoons, divers and plugs. This was all shot during June of 2017 at Elk Island Lodge on Gods Lake, Manitoba, Canada. Fishing for lake trout on Gods Lake can be incredible. Trolling or jigging is the preferred method. Thank you for watching !!

    Have really enjoyed these underwater vids with the Water Wolf. Watching that big mouth open directly in front of lens as it attacks the camera is seriously priceless!

    I know you didn’t ask, and maybe not your goal for these videos at all — but I would love it if you had a second above-water camera angle that you could fade to as you start to net the fish. Just a friendly suggestion!

    Thank you and It has always been on my agenda to do that and will hopefully get some simultaneous footage next summer.
