Hey Guys – Love the show!! Quick Question. I don’t recall in recent years seeing any underwater footage in any of your ice fishing content. Is there a reason you don’t incorporate a lot of underwater footage into your shows? I know water clarity, snow cover, depth, time of day etc etc can make it hard to utilize all the time. I watch a lot of YouTube Ice Fishing content as well and when it is used it adds so much to the show and man can you learn a lot? Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!

One can learn a lot from watching underwater footage. I would really like to see James work a rap and pull in a pig. It might be a little cold for the camera guy having his head under water that long. It would be nice to see more footage of them working the baits they are using.

Do you mean to say that starting a clip above the ice, a fraction of a second before a hook set isn’t informative.

How would we know how to reel?

When we’re on a body of water with exceptional water clarity we’ll add in an underwater camera. That said, most bodies of water don’t have the water clarity needed to produce worthwhile footage and, in my experience, some species like walleye will avoid coming into camera range under most scenarios.
