I was just wondering about using a camera in water 40’- 70’.
How is the clarity assuming you are in a Lake that has crystal clear water?
Do they come with enough cord to go that deep?
What makes and models excel in the deep depths?

think my marcum comes with 50 ft of cord. the deepest i remember using it is about 30-40 ft. just dont fish deeper then that. only thing i think sux about it is wrapping up the that much cord when the thingy you wrap the cord up on is 6 inche in length. doah

clarity………i dont see much difference other then it looks like your looking at the black hole if you dont actually have something to look at if you understand what i mean. still doesnt deter me from using it.

I’ve used mine on a crystal clear lake to the end of my 50ft cable. When facing down I could see the bottom in 80 feet. It was very cool!

Mind you this was a bright sunny day with little snow cover.
