Anyone running one. I have an Ultrexx from the first year they came out. It works decently. I’ve replaced the on/off switch, the steering cables, and it goes crazy in spot lock on calm days once in awhile. I’ve broken the pull chord a few times, and almost landed up in the drink. I’m trying to justify upgrading. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Ice will be off earlier than normal I’d guess at this pace. Thanks, Sam
I have a two year old Ultrex and I can confidently say after being in boats with original or early models it’s a better system. The quest would be nice only because it’s got more thrust and I think it’s brushless, so it should be nice and quiet.
Getting mine next week. Thought there’d be a little more chatter. I’ll let you know what I think. Open water next week I hope.
Got it installed. Looks pretty rugged. Unfortunately, it’s nice during the work week and looks like crummy weather this weekend. Ice almost off the lake. Good luck
