I may be boat shopping due to an accident just waiting on insurance decision. I am a bass/crappie/eye jig fishermen at heart had the BT ultrex on a MX2025 and loved it. Looking for input on the Ultera. Any issues with the deploy function. I have a Gennis sitting on a jet boat that is not the most reliable and I bit on the MK Media/sponsored representatives propaganda I keep hearing that the ulterra is totally different tech. But as everyone who bought a Gen it was the greatest since sliced bread. Anyone know if you can cut down the shaft of a 60” to 50” if I happen to get a replacement boat with the ultra and swap it to a ultrex. Thanks for help.
