I was surprised to see the Merc on the back.
You have a lot of years running the Yammies.

If Yamaha made a 400 hp motor that would work with this particular hull that’s what would be back there doing the pushing. Sadly, they don’t.

Also I thought I counted four 13 inch birds? But I only watched the video once.

Correct. 4 Apex and a Garmin.

I heard you got some awesome flies to throw at them

Those flies you tied for me, which do look awesome, are going to get put to work on my trip to NIPIGON this summer. I’ll report back and thank you for setting me up. I appreciate it!

When are they releasing the 238 tiller? This looks like an “ok” boat but its got way to many windshields and steering wheels in it. Lol

I used to be a hardcore tiller guy… then I got old. doah

With the popularity of the 2090 being what it is I wouldn’t expect a tiller bigger than that from Warrior any time soon.

Just imagine the size of dance floor in that thing. Could host a square dance on the water.

Folbe rod holders would complete this boat build.

What an amazing rig! The boat, motor, accessories and rigging are absolutely top notch and incredible. It must be rewarding to be able to get into a rig like that knowing you made your own success.

Many congrats James. You made it happen. How awesome is that!

VERY nice boat James. I guess I was surprised to hear you are already 50 but I guess I’m not the only one getting older. I’m 71 years old. You mentioned downsizing when you get older. That is something I did back in 2010. With the 2008/2009 economic crash taking place alot of people who were looking at getting into fishing were looking at smaller boats due to money and boat prices. I had done some on the water testing of a prototype Evinrude Etec 30 hp motor on a new Alumacraft 16ft Fisherman model boat and liked both the motor and boat combination. With myself getting older and figuring I was getting close to retirement I downsized my bigger Alumacraft boat for a 16ft Alumacraft Fisherman with a 25hp Evinrude Etec motor. And sure enough, I was put on disability social security several years later for my neck, back, and hands injuries. Alumacraft has now replaced that boat with the Escape model which is a very nice boat for someone wanting to get into fishing. My son Nate runs a 620 Ranger with a 250 Mercury Pro XS and really likes it so I think you will be happy with the Mercury. Now if he just wouldn’t be so darn busy with work and family he might take me out fishing in it. Have fun and enjoy fishing in the new boat Jammes. You earned it.

James are there any action shots of fish in this thing, getting it slimed up?

Nice boat. Mat is a great guy to work with. I had a issue with my Garmin graphs a few years ago and he got me all fixed up in no time.

Sweet ride, I can’t imagine where to even start when the eventual electric gremlins show up…

I’ve never seen a ferrite core installed on a LVS34 like that before, is that only due to the multitude of other electronics running on that particular boat?

Congratulations on the boat. First off I hope you are way off on downsizing in 10-15 years. I’m 67 and just possibly trading my 208 for a 238. My question is are you happy with the boat and setup or is there anything you would change if possible?
