Love my Ulterra. I know of probably 10 getting used very hard with little issues.

The one issue I did hear about was a guy who ran a lot of dirt roads. The dirt messed up the ball screw and needed to be replaced.

Other than that they have been great.

Good luck finding one. I’ve scoured the internet and am on a who knows when back order list.

I’ve had several issues with mine. Love it when it works.

On my second one and while I could not go back to a Terrova, mine have been in the shop a lot. My new one which is a 72″ with built in SI has already been in the shop twice. The first time they replaced the power board and the turn assembly, the second time the whole lower unit for transducer going out. My first one was in the sh0p three times.
So they are great for what they do, but for me not reliable.

4 years on my Ulterra and love it. No issues at all. Then again, I have a 2006 150 etec and have had no problems with that either. Starts with barely a turn of the key every time.

Not one. Know 15 people with them. If you don’t have a problem getting out of your chair to stow/deplow. I run a tiller and make my passenger stow/deploy so I basically have the same thing..

I have an Ulterra 72″ MSI unit. Besides an occasional transducer issue it has been great. The power trim feature is quite handy if your in the shallows.

I have had zero issues with my Terrova and have not heard from anyone else. The only time I spent in a boat with the Ulterra was in Canada and the guy we stayed with had one and it got stuck in the deployed position. We were not far from the dock so went back and worked with it until not sure how or why, but got it to work. I think it has been fine since but that was enough for me to know I didn’t want that happening to me out in the middle of a lake.

Grizzly, I bought an Ulterra 72″ 36 volt in the spring of 2019. It has been great for me. I really like it. We can vertical jig when the waves are big enough to splash over the bow once in a while using spot lock, like the waves do on Lake of the Woods.

Sorry I didn’t get a hold of you when I was at Lake of the Woods. It was a busy trip.

Please let me know if you hear of any places that come up for sale up there.

    Thanks.
