I get about five hours with my remote and it’s dead. When charging the red light never goes out even after three days. It looks like there is a light on the other side but not sure if it’s supposed to turn green maybe ? It came with the boat with no manual. I was just wondering if this is normal. Thanks

I would say its on the way out. Call Minn Kota service to get new one. I carry a long usb charging cord as a back up. You might not be able to stow the motor if it goes bad on you on the water.
The charging cord didn’t come with the little plug in inverter . I’ve been using one from my I phone , is that maybe the problem ? I can stow and deploy with my helix.
I turned down the screen brightness on mine. That helped the battery life.
On mine the red light stays on if it is plugged in. When it is charging, there is a gray charging thing on the bottom of the screen.

My light stays red as well. And usually if I use the remote a lot for steering vs follow the contour. It is dead by the end of the day. I’d say your remote is fine
Are these the new remote? Mine looks nothing like this. Mine is a 2016 vintage and the remote battery lasts for a couple of years, not rechargeable.
I’m guessing that he’s talking about an I-Pilot Link remote and I’m guessing that you have an I-Pilot remote instead of an I-Pilot Link remote.

Mine is new and looks like that, Ultera 24 volt linked into the humminbirds and the very same remote.
