Anybody, have one of these yet on their boat? Wondering how the quality compares to the Titan system?

I’m in Canada and these are little expensive 1600 US , so it’s going to be a pretty expensive add on to our boat, but we really want one because we had a Titan on our last boat and it was awesome!

Would like to hear first hand from some owners before investing this money.

I just emailed UFlex a few days ago and they told me the Yamaha system wouldn’t be on the market until the end of this month. I’m thinking hard about getting that setup for my 115 Yamaha when its available.

I am as well Matt, I had a titan on my 75 and it was awesome!! Being in Ontario, Canada, I’d be surprised if we ever see one here. So that’s why I hoping somebody had one )

If you get one I’d be interested in how well it works. I have an 11 year old Mertens/Titan on a Yamaha 90. When it goes I would like to replace it with something that works as well as it did.

I took a lap around the lake with one. It worked exactly as you would think it should. Looked to be a good sturdy design. System locked when you took your hand off of the handle. Steered like normal when your hand was on it. I ran it on a Yamaha 150.

    Hi Pat,

That’s great news! Curious if you remember how much you needed to move the handle to disengage the
    handle?

On my Mertens Titan it was almost inpersevable, like 1/16 – 1/8 of an inch tops.

Basically it such minor movement you almost for get its there.. Mertens was such a nice unit!

I can’t honestly remember. It was not loose or sloppy though if that’s what you’re wondering.
