LOL Merican a Eagle!! I went with my wife for her birthday. I will not deny or confirm singing along or tapping my foot to a few songs. I also will say I do not regret going, there was a lot to see there, and the misses was VERY apreciative I took her. I am glad it sounds like they got things figured out for Saturday. Trust me I would have rather went to Metalica. Can I please have my man card back?

I was at the Luke Bryan concert on Friday, unfortunately I’m married. Seriously though, if you are a single guy you should just go to a Luke Bryan concert and you can thank me later.

But that means they probably like country music. coffee I’ll wait for the Korn/ Breaking Benjamin concert in Fargo in September. peace

It’s not up to me, but sure! chased

I’m sure if we weren’t busy last weekend, the wife would have suckered me in also…

Sound in the 300 levels for Metallica was one big garbled sound as well. It was okay for me knowing most words to most songs, but it was just a loud mess for my girlfriend.

I’ve seen Metallica twice at the Metrodome. On the floor the sound was awesome. In the stands near the back it was awful. I could understand the issue being the same in the new stadium.

That doesn’t mean they like country music, it was a Luke Bryan concert, it means they like pop music and boy bands… jester

I can’t wait to check out the new stadium, esp for a Vikes game tho! Also, I’ve been in the nosebleeds at Target Center and Excel for concerts, and the acoustics suck there too. Not sure much can be done, other than buying better seats.

Same here, you get what you pay for with the cheap seats. Granted the cheap seats at Metallica were not so cheap, like $65 for the 300 level. I was in V4, gold lobby, and had I known that there 3 bars and 2 restaurants(no wait for either) just for the V series of sections I would not have waited in line for 20min on the main concourse for beer.

I didn’t go to the Like Bryan concert but I have been to a lot of country concert and you don’t need to like the music to like the show. The girls are at the these shows are the best part, heads on a swivel. I wish I could have gone to the Metallica concert. Seen them at the Metrodome quite a few years ago, had floor tickets and wsd best show I’ve ever seen.

I was impressed with the way the field looked on TV during a noon game. I was worried it would have shadows like Indy’s stadium. I hated those shadows when we played there a few years ago.
