Two Big Feet Help

Size 16 or 17 Wide. (emphasis on WIDE)
Insulated.
Waterproof.

Who makes this boot?

Currently i’m wearing insulated muck boots size 15 – absolute foot squeeze and loss of warmth becuase of it.
or
Columbia Bugaboo, 200g, they are big enough and comfortable, but only waterproof the bottom 3″; so i get wet feet drilling holes if i’m not careful.

Anyone else got sasquatch feet and can reccommend a winter boot that fits my criteria?

I called most of the big hunting brand boot companies last year asking for custom sizes; but it was a NO GO from all of them.

I’m jealous of all the nice boot options most of you have!

Not sure I can help you regarding width. But Sorel makes boots up to size 17. You would probably have a hard time finding them in a store, but you can order them off their website.

You could do a lot worse than a Sorel Caribou. A lot worse. If I EVER wear out my current pair of Caribou’s I plan on trying the new wool lined version. Standard Caribou is what I have been wearing all winter for as long as I can remember. In my opinion they are the standard bearer.
Proven, warm but not bulky. Pliable.

Nice. Those wool caribou look real good. Do they run small or narrow?
I’m afraid it’s going to be tight width wise since i really do require a wide shoe.

Yeah 2bigfeet is where i buy most of my shoes.
I have looked at the Bog brand before, but didn’t think last time i did some serious searching they didn’t have any insulated models. Though late in 2012 i bought the latest insulated muck boot in a size 16. WHen it showed up it was SUPER tight. Once i pried it off my feet i saw it was actually a 15. Called up muck and they were like “No way you ordered a 16; we don’t make them”…Well, i did, but apparently a typo on their website. Still wearing those, but have to wear super thin socks and be doing something active. Looks like now there is now an insulated bog for sure, and it is in 17 too. So i might need to give Sorel and Bog a look.

I’ve got 3 over-$200 boots that i’m just not happy with and another $300 in crappy steel toes; might as well keep trying. THinking foot shrinking surgery 10 years ago would have saved me a ton of $$. lol

I dont know. Maybe you could call or email them before you take a chance ordering? I would think a sasquatch size 17 would also be wide.
