Since the team aint spending any money are any of you gonna spend $19.99 a month or $99 for the season. Havent see if it will be offered through Directv or not. If not that may be the final nail in the coffin for me after Wolves and Wild seasons end.

Twins were making the full announcement today according to Hayes in The Athletic.

I’ll wait until after the sale is final and then likely will give it a spin. I’ll also need to see if play-offs are included in the season price.

I would assume playoffs would be on national broadcasts, so likely not included in the package. more details to come I’m sure..

    Pass.

It seems to be one crapshoot broadcast after the next with the platform changing damn near annually. Baseball is just as enjoyable on the radio for me.

if we’re talking twins and playoffs, you’re talking 3 games MAX, so you wouldn’t miss out on much.

Baseball is on of those games that is more enjoyable on the radio. I really miss Dick and Bert doing the games.

    Playoffs!!! Playoffs? Really! Playoffs!???

    That made my day jester

At the very most I could see myself going in on a subscription with my brothers and paying 25% of the cost, only because a few of them are likely to want to get it. Personally I don’t want to give a penny to the Pohlads. I know they won’t notice my decision to contribute or not but it’s not something I want to spend my money on. With this package now they’re asking people to part ways with more of their money while they, as an ownership group, part ways with much less money than they normally would/should during an offseason to improve their team and sell their product…like a new streaming service. Please sell this team that’s been such a nuisance to you, Pohlads.

Are you just assuming the Twins are for sale, or are they?

They are for sale and rumored to have an interested party. However until the ink is dry many fans, myself included won’t forget last years betrayal.

I urge everybody to stay out of Target Field and hold off on the TV subscription until new ownership is in place.

I’m already paying for Fanduel I will not pay anymore for the twins. Our family are big sports. If this becomes a bigger trend we will not be watching.

The new subscription has nothing to do with Fanduel / Ballys. To get the Twins you will need the subcription.

I’m aware of that. I have fanduel to watch wolves and wild. Not interested in paying $20 a month to watch the twins. I’ll go to town and watch our town team play.

I’m with you and Jeremy on this one. I’m already paying for the basic package that includes the local teams on Fanduel and I’m not getting sucked into spending more. I’ll just have to live without watching them. It sucks, and I like watching the local teams, but I have to draw a line somewhere.

I love baseball more than any other sport. My wife is a huge fan of all sports.
I told her tonite I am not ponying up an addtl $99 to watch them on tv ( i built those cheapskates a stadium and they respond by gutting the team and not replacing it with anything of substance. More money for them and less enjoyment for us) and we have Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, Apple and anything else that costs to watch already, but I digress.
Radio it is until something else changes.

They signed Correa to a $200 million dollar deal.
They signed Buxton to a $100 million dollar deal.
They traded for one of the top starters in the American League in Lopez.
They also signed Josh Donaldson to a big deal.

While all the moves haven’t panned out you can’t say they haven’t done ANYTHING until recently.

I will not pay more to watch them on TV. Done donating to Billionaire owners greed. I am a huge baseball fan. Have to say I was not able to watch last season and life went on.
