Mike Pelfry for a starter followed by Stauffer. Hey BK, can your brother still toss the ball? If so get him down to Target Field. frown

They have a nice little run going. Gibson appears to be the real deal.
If the poor play continues and attendance declines do they call up Buxton as much to sell tickets as to see how he performs?

No. Buxton, Sano, Rosario all need to dominate triple A before coming up. Can’t chance another Hicks with these guys.

Rosario will be first if they can’t get consistency out of Arcia.

I just bet a buddy that the Twins won’t see 500 this year

Service time will probably dictate call ups from Triple A more than anything. A few of the prospects will probably come up in August/Sept – unless the bottom falls out (very possible) then you may see the young ones come up in June…but not before that so that the service time won’t count.

This is after all a small market, lower budget team. They aren’t going to win anything (or probably even make it to .500) this year – so why not keep the young guys of the future under control for an additional year?
