Why would they fire the hitting coach when they wont fire his boss.

We should have won last nite. CANNOT hit the baseball, especially w runners in scoring position. THey tried to give it us but we could not execute.
Buxton could be sent down or something. He HAS to be a major distraction on the bench.

I love everybody that can’t figure out why this team can’t hit with runners in scoring position. Funny, but it turns out when 3/4 of your lineup are hitting .210 it doesn’t magically get better because there are runners on base…..

I certainly hope you aren’t insinuating that contact leads to hits and hits lead to runs and runs lead to wins. Say it ain’t so.

    Tbro……..whats your take on that?

Allard (Braves starter) had a great 1st game (this year) in the Bigs. sad Twins managed 3 runs in 3 games in Atlanta redface

Based on the Twins most epic failures over the first half of the season against the best MLB has to offer … Right now the Rays-Braves World Series looks like the odds-on favorite.

Outside of Baltimore … the July schedule looks like it favors a Twins rally.

We should get Sano back. He would be batting .200 striking out half the time but would be leading the team in homeruns probably. .200 and 50% strikeouts would be right on par with everyone else this year.

Until they stop the HR or Bust mentality the offense isn’t going to come around.

But,but what if we get the launch angle to 48 degrees or can get ‘em to fly 460’ once in a while.

I honestly hope they just tank the second half of the season so some changes are made. And I’m talking big changes. Like Rockhead and Falvene gone.

Falvene are the prodigal sons. They are as close to untouchable as it gets.

They won’t tank, they will go on a big July run, maintain .500 in August and give it a bit of a boost in Sept. to lock up the division title.

That won’t make Rocco untouchable though, I think he is starting to hear the rumbling.

I think it’s closer than most think. Especially if they don’t win the division. Which I think is a very real possibility. We lose one more starter or Correa, Lewis or Kirilloff goes down, it’s over.

1-0 game in the top of the 8th. Pinch hit Solano for Julien and Castro for Kirilloff with nobody on base.

Ober gives up 2 hits through 7 on only 85 pitches. Baltimore hasn’t come close to a threat. Into the pen he goes.

Geez I can’t wait for this guy to go.

wasting guys sitting on the bench to come in cold just to get the righty on lefty matchup and bases empty. what an idiot…..didn’t Molly get canned after getting manager of the year? anything is possible

The Oriole pitcher in the 7th inning today grew up and played baseball for Mahtomedi High School. Orioles drafted him in the 3rd round in 2017.

Fun to see him as the 7th inning set up man in a one run differential game … he is just 27.

hey if you see multiple posts on this … sorry … my phone posts did not appear to take hold. I figure they will show an hour or two from now.

Well there’s one on my list of injuries that will sink this team. Lewis going on IL with oblique injury. Miranda coming back up.

Ryan better start to mix things up again. He’s gotten a little too comfortable after a lot of good starts. Teams are going to be looking for that fastball early. He’s not a secret anymore.

I think Farmer just hurt himself on one of those swings in his first at bat. If that’s the case this team is really in trouble.

They are playing the worse team in baseball. They should be able to stick the Saints out there with Ryan on the mound.

This Cox kid looks pretty good though. He’s been really good since he’s pitched with the big league Royals. Surprised we got two off him already. Playing some piranha ball.

Makes me laugh that the only lefty Rockhead will leave in against a left handed pitcher is the guy hitting under .200 and won’t hit Kirilloff who’s hitting what, .280?

Until they bring Wallner back I don’t see anybody that should be out there in front of Kepler. He’s not great but he won’t hurt you in the field either.

Where the heck is Mornie? I can’t do Perkins both on the road and at home. crazy

    Agreed.

I’d put Kirilloff, Larnach, or Wallner out before Kepler. I’m not worried about our RF’s defense. I’m worried about offense.
