    Holy smokes. Buxton has awoken.

Can we trade him quick while he’s “healthy”? jester

Dallas Keuchel is coming to town! What a classic Twins move.

Haha would they still be the Twins if they didn’t sign someone off the scrap heap 3-5 years past their prime? rotflol

It must be Opposite Day or Rocco wasn’t in the ballpark this afternoon. What a start by Ryan. First complete game shutout since before Rocco took over in 2019 and even sadder is it’s the first time a Twins starter has recorded an out in the ninth inning during the Rocco era.

For the record, I’m extatic that Keuchel is here, mostly if he brings his wife to town.

Google Kelly Nash from MLB Network…..Wowzers.

This Keuchel thing is just a minor league deal right? Rehab stint and then see what he can do? Any word on Maeda? I was hoping he would have a strong year.

Maeda is stating tomorrow against the Braves. Keuchel is a minor league deal for rotation depth and possibly long relief.

Can tell I’m getting older as I got kind of annoyed seeing Buxton pimping his home runs yesterday after the pitiful season he’s had thus far.

I get what you’re saying but the guy has been miserable for the last two months. Let him have a little fun when he can. Hopefully he can stay hot. Team sure needs him to be.

Great game to attend yesterday. Hot but the kid made it the whole game. Crowd erupted when Rocco let Joe take the mound in the ninth. I was shocked he let it happen.

Agreed sometimes that is all it takes to get hot. We have seen what Buxton can do when he’s seeing the ball well. Lets hope this ignites him.

Great game yesterday to see and go to. Fun to watch when someone is throwing so well.

Yeah when I saw a complete game I figured Rocco must have taken the day off, or the phone from the GM’s office to the dugout wasn’t working. rotflol

Nice return for Maeda. Yeah it’s the Tigers, but a good comeback for him. Also nice to see him tell the acting manager to pound sand when he tried to take him out with two outs in the fourth inning.

A six man rotation. Should be well rested for the 2 playoff games.

Where did Brock Stewart come from?

Where did Brock Stewart come from?

He pitched for a couple other teams, Dodgers I think was one of them. He’s a typical reliever in todays game.

Except he’s never had a good season until this year. And he’s never thrown in the high 90s either until this year.

He has an 0.70 ERA in 25 innings. He’s been great.

Stewart has been good as has the bullpen over-all this year. I won’t give them a final grade however until Rocco is done burning them up by the end of July.

Once Rocco saw how China Doll was going to do tonight in Detroit he decided to take another night off. yay

might be August this year? they have pitched their starters 100 more innings this year at the same point. Jax is back and Stewert and Duran are ELITE so there’s that.

So far not a great night for the Twinkies. Lopez gives up 3 early. Then Buxton removed with back spasms after a grounder. Now DeLeon hurt his arm while warming up. doah

I hope Buston has applied for his AARP card. we will not see Deleon again this year as he actually tore something in his arm. 80 wins might win this $hitshow of a division

It’s pretty incredible how hot and cold this offense is. But I guess that’s what you get when you have a bunch of guys that hit .210 and strike out or HR.

You won’t see DeLeon in a Twins uniform again. He’s done.

This could be an ugly series for the Twins. Gleeman put the over/under on runs scored by the Braves at 25 for the series! jester

Braves are loaded plus they know how to play the game. Gleeman might have been light at 25. jester
