It’s so great to see them hitting singles all over the field. Runners on base win games, not solo dingers..

Also they had a side by side comparison of Miranda’s swing and Pujol’s swing before the game, it was beautiful.. Hope that’s an indication that he has even a fraction of the success Pujol’s had in his career.

Sonny was great! but he was only allowed to go 6 innings. By the way Miranda just went deep, he is becoming the star we need!

I missed on why Mahle left in the third inning? Hope it is not serious, but with our luck with traded pitchers, it will not be good.

When your fastball is topping out at 89 when it normally averages 94 something isn’t right. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.

Did the inevitable Twins thing happen again? Yes. Also still glad they at least tried to add to the club. Someday September baseball will matter again, probably not October or November if I’m being honest tho. chased jester

As long as there’s no salary cap, we’ll be outbid, outpayed, and outplayed by big market teams that can afford (or are willing to spend) the money on talent. Twins will only be the boys of summer.

I have the MLB Network. I swear between MLB, FOX, ESPN & Bally the Yankees have been on 90% of their games. Against the Blue Jays tonight, Barrios goes for the Jays. Kinda hope he gets lit up. He was never as good as everybody thought.

And yet probably the twins best pitcher since Santana.

BAS A$$ Bundy dealing tonight…..if you like a pitchers dual this one is for you.

Apple plus has the game. the annoying analytical stats in the corner of the screen are pretty worthless. i would have loved it when i was younger but now it just makes me shake my head.

and just like that Rocky pulls him after 71 pitches because the 3rd time in the batting order stats came on the screen….hopefully its Pagan

Last update I saw it was 2-1 in the 7th. Arreaz & Miranda had solo jacks. Was that the final score?

Final was 2-1, Lopez made it interesting in the 9th with two walks. Kepler made a heads up play on a liner that looked like in might drop, caught it and doubled the runner off of second with a throw to Correa.

another pitchers dual……who knew with Bundy and Archer? windmill watkins sending Kepler in the 8th and relay was bobbled! aggressiveness paid off this time. Miranda carrying this team as a rookie is pretty impressive. take a back seat Buxy and Carlos

boy these bats need to get going and soon……..

Terrible strike zone, terrible game. They should just call it a tie, neither team earned this on.

Lopez must have a golden horseshoe in his pocket. balls are just getting ripped but right at our guys. i know Correa really lobbied to get his buddy on this team but this guy scares me if he is closing games. he has some nasty stuff but seems to leave some meatballs out over the plate like Pagan. seems like Rocky is putting him out there too often too?

He a closer. You put him out in every closing situation there is.

He’s a closer this year, last year he was a failed starter. I’m sure he will be ok it’s just that with the lack of offense the blown saves become so important down the stretch.

Yeah that was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. That strike on Miranda late in the game was at his shoulders.

Windmill Watkins! I love that. It’s so true, I saw him sending him and was like “here we go again”. He would’ve been out by ten feet if that ball wasn’t bobbled.

You can add Jax and McGill to that list. Jax “slider” is usually well over the plate and up as is McGill’s curve.

Jax is being worked to death. He will get beat around a few times in the coming weeks.

Seeing T.K. today it makes me wonder how he would handle China Doll.

Twins need a good day from Ryan today.

Too bad McGill and Pagan gagged it up and the bats were silent. Beautiful day for a game.
