I think they are pretty much done with Sano so I wouldn’t worry about it. If Kiriloff can’t figure his wrist out we have Miranda waiting in the wings and Arraez has been great at first the last two starts.

And Miranda get’s his first big league hit. RBI double. Hope he’s here to stay.

Well they just keep on winning and its a different twin every day that is producing. Ryan did not have his good stuff and it does not matter. They look like a team that is playing for each other. Miranda got his first hit and it was an RBI Double. The bench was pretty happy for him and also his family.

They’ve been a really fun team to follow so far this year. Will make listening to them in the boat this summer even more enjoyable!

One could argue this was one of his best outings of his young career. Every pitcher is going to have games they have to grind out, no one avoids those games. How he handled it was like a true ace. He clearly was not commanding the ball, but he still did not panic and gave his team a chance. It’s easy to pitch when things are going good, but how you react when you just don’t got “it” separates the men from the boys. This guy will be good for a long time and I’m excited to have him.

Biggest difference between last year and this year. Not as many crooked numbers going up. Ryan was off his game but he never gave up a bad inning. Last year there would have been a 4 or 5 on the board where this year it was a 1.

damn he is one sweaty dude! i am more concerned about a 88 mph fastball than some hangers tho. not defending him because he did give up some hard hits, but the errors and bloopers seemed to have done him in? pretty entertaining game so far

You are correct. He wasn’t great but didn’t deserve to give up 9. It was more like 4 if our D would’ve picked him up a little.

One of those never would have happened if your Gold Glove SS wouldn’t have thrown the ball into the stands a play or two before……

I forgot you are a big Miranda guy. He might be ok, I’ve been impressed that he gets the bat on the ball, a big improvement over the fat kid. He looks kind of lost playing first but I thought he was a third baseman so maybe he is learning on the job. We will see what he looks like once the pitchers get a book on him. Sano use to be able to hit years ago also.

I expected that ball Polanco hit to left to unravel like the ball in the movie The Natural. My Lord he smoked that thing.

He is a third basemen and he’s never been described as anything more than an average defender. But his bat is special. MLB pitching is a different animal though. I think he’s looked very comfortable at the plate. I think he has 12 ab’s or so and hasn’t struck out once. He’s working deep into the count too so that tells me he can track MLB no problem. I think once he gets 50 ab’s under his belt he starts heating up.

He had surprised me at the plate.

Twins current run has been against the Central division, Tampa Bay and Baltimore. With the A’s, Astro’s and Central division again for the rest of May it should continue.

Hopefully Correa isn’t out long. We may get to see Lewis sooner than later.

I’ve gone to probably 20 games at Camden Yards and watched probably 200 on TV and NEVER saw a ball go over the bullpens. Lived in DC before the Nationals were there so they were my team.

Hoping Correa’s finger’s aren’t broken. That was one of the more square finger shots I’ve ever seen. That’s gotta hurt.

Not good news just came out. Displaced finger fracture for Correa. The Golden Boy himself Royce Lewis has been called up. That should be fun to watch.

Sucks for Correa. He was really starting to pound the ball.

any idea on how long Correa will be out?

Is our 3rd base coach a rookie or can he just not judge our runners speed. Havent watched all the games but hes sent some guys on some real bad plays.
