Garbage bullpen.
No. 2 garbage bullpen pitchers which our idiot manager managed to use both in the same inning because he’s a complete idiot. Sure Pagan gave up the HR but he never should’ve been in that situation if Theilbar didn’t suck so bad. Rocco always uses he worst arms in the biggest situations. I think that’s what his analytics team tells him.

That was embarrassing
The Hamburgler was wandering all over the field.Thats two wins they have been gifted with some of the worst defense I have seen.
April 26, 2022 at 9:54 pm #2119528Looked like a little league game from both the Tigers and Twins. I refuse to acknowledge sano as the hero here.
April 26, 2022 at 9:55 pm #2119530Thank you Detroit.
That might have been the worst baseball play from both sides I’ve ever seen.

Hell no! He darn near cost them the win by being a complete idiot!
RipjiggenPosts: 11588April 26, 2022 at 10:17 pm #2119536I think we saw why Grossman is a ex Twin. Kepler makes that play.
Nice day for Kepler hitting also.April 27, 2022 at 8:54 am #2119609I think we saw why Grossman is a ex Twin. Kepler makes that play.
Nice day for Kepler hitting also.I still can’t believe Rocco’s bullpen usage. Why does he always bring in his worst relievers in close games?
April 27, 2022 at 9:11 am #2119616Thielbar has a history of being very good or very bad. Not much in between for him. Last night he was bad.
Pagan has been good, i’m sure they are trying to build his confidence.
I don’t wanna talk about Duffy.
FryDog62Posts: 3696April 27, 2022 at 9:40 am #2119628Sano obviously doesn’t know how to run the bases because he never gets on. The one time he hit a homer this year, he must’ve got it stuck in his head that he’s supposed to just keep running around the bases til he gets home…
April 27, 2022 at 10:04 am #2119651and once again Sano gets a win for the Twins. Guy just knows how to make things happen.
Love those baby blue uni’s!

HAHA
Theilbar was decent last season until the second half. He’s been absolutely terrible since the current season started.

That was like one of my kid’s little league games the end of the game. Holy cow was that bananas.

Hahaha came here to say the same, what a walkoff for the future Mini Papi! It’s probably a combo of the Twin, T’wolves and my advancing age, but the fundamentals at the highest levels are embarrassing. That stuff wouldn’t fly with my 12 year old travelling baseball squad, let alone higher levels.

Yeah fundamentals are gone in just about everything but hockey and football it seems.
April 27, 2022 at 1:10 pm #2119726In other news, Simeon Woods Richardson (acquired in the Berrios trade) has 3 starts with 16 innings, 5 hits, no runs and 14 Ks for AA Wichita.
April 27, 2022 at 3:59 pm #2119775Don’t the pocket protectors think thats not enough K’s per inning?
Does he have a win?April 27, 2022 at 6:51 pm #2119801Arraez playing 1st tonight. I didn’t see that coming but I like it.
April 27, 2022 at 6:53 pm #2119802I think Pineda might have be the new Captain Cheeseburger. Holy smokes is that guy top heavy!
I like Joe Ryan more each time I watch him start. He looks to have figured out he needs to mix pitches more than he did in the minors and it’s really effective.
April 27, 2022 at 7:38 pm #2119817I’ll be the first to admit I never thought Ryan would be anything more than a #4 or #3 at best. He is just dominate at this point. Maybe he falls off but for right now he has it going.
Think Kep’s hot?

I didn’t either. I really thought he was going to get rocked once pitchers got some tape on him throwing all those fastballs. Really glad to see him adjusting well.
A good year out of Kepler could really help this team. Not confident he can put it together but he’s on the ball the last couple games that’s for sure.
April 27, 2022 at 8:10 pm #2119821I’m more of a Kepler guy than a Sano, Larnach, Jeffers guy. But thats why they play the games. The better they are the better the Twins chances.
April 27, 2022 at 8:19 pm #2119825I know it’s only three times through the rotation but I can’t get over this rotation. Not to mention the best one of them hasn’t even started for two weeks. If they get Grey going when he comes back even if only a couple of them keep it going the rotation should be pretty solid.
FryDog62Posts: 3696April 27, 2022 at 8:25 pm #2119827It’s just nice to watch a guy that can actually pitch versus guys just trying to throw as hard as they can with no location. He is automatic right now.
April 27, 2022 at 8:26 pm #2119828I wonder if Ryan got the Dickey from Cousin Eddie??
I noticed that too! Classic! He seems like he has a lot of Cali to him. I won’t hold him against him if he keeps pitching like this.
