to be fair….. Brewers fan here, but what is going on with the Twins? Did not see this type of start to the season.

Finally get to watch part of a game on mlb network, because I’m done chasing fox or Bally or whatever it is, then this happens

I’m starting to enjoy not watching sports. The bottom of ten was like watching a movie of bloopers.

It’s what happens when you have a manager that doesn’t look up from his analytics clipboard to actually see what’s going on in the games.

Pay big money for one of the best defensive third basemen in the game and you pinch run for him with a guy who isn’t even much faster and take his Gold Glove off of the field when you need it the most.

Solid plan. Not to mention we have a guy that can’t jump more than 2 inches off the ground at first, (not that it mattered with that throw)…..

I’m starting to get on the lack of leadership bandwagon. I know we’re new into the season but decision after decision starts to add up. Spot on re: Donaldson, Colome does not have it (4th or 5th blown game) I know there were errors behind him but one was on the manger and it does not help when you load the bases as our closer.
    Hard to watch

did the large fellow K 4 times?

Marathon not sprint. I’ll tune in to a game soon, just not excited like usuall? The older I get, the less I give a $hit about things I cannot control.

Spot on with Donaldson. You went with Rogers and he mowed them down for a couple of innings. You weren’t going to use him tomorrow so why throw Colume’ out there? Hell, 75 year old Romo was better then him. The White Sux didn’t dump him because he was good.

So, Donaldson doesn’t kick the ball to end the game. Arreaz is still at second so Blankenship doesn’t kick his. We end the game on a Buxtin home run. Everybody crawls on the plane happy.

BTW, for all you Rooker fans…..he is over his head also.

Time for Cruz to juice up again, if running around the bases after two homeruns is to much for you you better do something.

    1. Not sure there are many Rooker fans.
    2. Not that it changes your old man comment, but Cruz pulled something in his leg when he got hit in the foot the other day while he fell down…..

None of this matters however, until Rocky decides to keep his hands off the lineup.

Isn’t Rooker just holding fort until the twins hit the game thresh hold to bring up Kirillof.

Basically. He is a top prospect and has shown some success at the big league level. Kiriloff should be in the lineup tomorrow I would think so we can stop this Arraez in the left bs and start putting position players where they actually play.

Whats the Sano deal? Covid related or did they close his favorite hot dog wagon down?

Pulled his Hammy… going on the 10 day… Is it wrong to hope he needs to do some rehab in the minors for a bit?

Kind of crazy how long players develop in baseball, Nick Gordon was the 5th overall pick in the 2014 draft, and I remember hoping he’d quickly become the long term answer at SS. I think they’ve had about 20 different SS since then!

Freaking knee tendonitis. I’ve had knee tendonitis for 10 freaking years.
Never stopped me from working or doing sports. Baldelli needs to stop coddling this players. I don’t know how he expects to win any games trotting out Cave, Austidillo, and other non starters…..embarrassing.

Baldelli is just the puppet. The puppet masters need to send word who plays and who sits. Oh wait………they already are. coffee

It will be nice when they get Simmons & Kepler back.

Simmons is back tonight. Not sure how Kepler will help much. He’s been as bad as the rest of them.

Kepler will slide Kiriloff to 1st until the fat kid figures out how to hit. Although he isn’t hitting much Keplers defense makes for a better outfield.

Baldelli forgets the number of mound visits you’re allowed in a inning and is then forced to take out Berrios even though he didn’t want do…..or was he just trying a new way to take his starter out early and not get blamed for it…. smash

On a positive note, Kiriloff is stinging the ball the last few games. Finally got rewarded for it.

Somebody will need to explain the 8th inning defensive replacements to me. Given the fact this game is almost sure to go extra innings we take our best hitter out?

It’s proven fact using analytics that if you get all of your bench players + bullpen pitchers into the game by the 8th inning your win percentage jumps!

I can’t believe these teams going 100% contact play. It’s ridiculous. But helped us at least this time.

Wouldn’t mind if Rogers could throw a pitch somewhere other than right down the middle.

Analytics also say that using Colome after the 8th inning results in a loss 100% of the time….. doah
