Twins 2020

I don’t know what it is but these last few games have been T O U G H to watch. Bottom of 6 and it’s nearly 10 o’clock.

I texted my old man in the fourth inning saying “this game might last 8 hours”.

nice win tonight. they really needed it and a day off to re charge tomorrow. just when you think things are going in the right direction, Araez and Kepler are probably on the IL now. at least JD didn’t have a setback……ugh!

I thought I saw Kepler come up like he pulled a hammy after crossing the plate. What happened to Arraez? Pull a back muscle after booting that grounder?

I agree Sano is swinging well when he hits the ball.

i like him. the games just are not the same when hes not there announcing

Probably putting someone in the booth that can explain the exit velocity of a line drive out and how it equates to 700 batting average.

Actually he is still working with the team I heard. Not sure in what role however.

I read somewhere that it was as a “special advisor” to the team. Not sure what that means.

Agreed! Personally I liked Bert, but I like the other guys that rotate thru, even Monotone Morneau has improved a lot. Now if Bremer would just hang em up….yes we know the forced runners are going in a full count and 2 outs Dick…

i cant stand morneaus non stop blabbling while announcing and trying disect every little thing of every move. just my opinion.

Kepler with the dreaded “groin tenderness”, an ailment that runs rampant on this team. Seems like Rocco has the worst case of it…..

Just think how hard & weird it must be for the veterans to play in empty stadiums. Rookies are use to small crowds in the minors but now there is nobody. Must be hard mentally to make the adjustment.

Kepler to the 10 day DL. Called up Brent Rooker which I am really excited about. This kid has some power. Not a great defender though. Should be fun to watch though.

2 solo dongs to start vs the kitties…….no runners on base weird. I see Gardy brought his band back together in Detroit with Vavra and Anderson. I see the Twins have some humor and put a giant Gardy head right behind home plate!

Would have never guessed this team would have trouble scoring runs. Especially against the Tigers.

^^^^right!? 5 runs scored in 15 innings. Got 2 W’s, but we’re not exactly killing it.

Twins likely lose game 2 if they bunted with Polanco with 2 runners on and nobody out. Thank you Rocco! Just impossible to even consider bunting in front of Sano

The fact that Polanco is the worst bunter on the team might have had something to do with it.

I have nothing to prove otherwise, but I find that statement very difficult to believe

Cave proves why sac bunts don’t work in the MLB, Sano has a 3 hit night including a homer and the game tying single in the 9th, then Buxton walks it off with an RBI single of his own.

I imagine it’ll be a little quiet around here

bad execution on Cave. Bux ran out a dribbler that 99% of MLB players get thrown out on.

I can’t imagine where this team would be without Big Mig carrying the offense like he has been lately. hopefully they wake those bats up from the coma they are in

Didn’t see the series this weekend only heard of Buxton’s lazer though the infield on the radio in the boat. However I was talking different instance when we were talking extra inning games as a home team bunting than what you are referring Bro. Just sayin.
Not sure how it was unlikely they lose game two if Polanco bunts but maybe your Mac computer told you that. Yeah maybe not the time to bunt when a guy is 3 for 3 in a 7 inning game you may let him swing away in that situation. Doesn’t take a computer to tell you a guy is swinging the bat well that game. Can kind of see that one with your own eye.
I mean the turtle lined out to second not sure of the exit velocity but it had to be hard enough that it was a 500-600 average in most cases.
