07/29/2008 The US Army Corps of Engineers announced today that Mark Twain Lake is closed to all recreational activity until further notice. This means that no swimming or boating is allowed anywhere on the lake. This closure marks the first time in the 24 year history of Mark Twain Lake that it has been closed.
