    Winner! 508B.

My dad talked me into going b season because he was worried the ground will still be under deep snow on the A week. I was dubious at first but now I’m glad I went with the B season.

After last spring, season A also scared me. Who knew I’d need a grain shovel to get unstuck.

1st season Apr 16-22 in WI Zone 7, which is far north. Arrowed one two years ago and am glad I didn’t get a drawn tag last year. Hoping to get one with stick and string again this season!!!

Olivia has the last week of April in SE. WI and I have the following week. Scouting efforts lately have been pretty bad. I found two carcasses and a flock of about 20 birds have dropped to about 10. Don’t know if its winter kill or if some have relocated. Hope things improve

Yes, a member on the IDO fishing, Tegg, drew the A season last year just in time for 20 inches of snow. I lent him my snow camo suit, but the whole thing was a complete Charlie Foxtrot with that much snow. The snow turned “crunchy” and moving quietly was impossible. Heck, moving at all was difficult in that much snow.

For those hunting anywhere in the northern half of MN, it’s going to be really interesting to see what kind of weather and snowfall we get the rest of the winter. There’s a LOT of snow up there right now.

The good news, YOU CAN get an F150 unstuck with a folding chair as a scoop!
