I was turkey hunting last week Monday through Friday and had a grouse come and strut around me on Monday. On Tuesday he was out chasing a hen turkey around the field while she was feeding, and then on Thursday he came near me and sat on a stump about 5 feet away from me for more than 20 minutes.
I did not end up getting a turkey but had a great time out in the woods, even though my week started with trudging through over 2 feet of snow and ended with sweating while just sitting in the blind.
