    We ended up 1 for 5. My buddy shot his first turkey, a nice jake. I didn’t hear a single gobble and the one my buddy shot came in silent. I saw a few a long ways out but that was it. The one that was shot was full of corn and we can’t figure out where they were getting it. I sat in a nice ice pellet storm yesterday. When we pulled up to the cabin on thursday we were greeted by the farmer that rents my buddies land spreading manure. 10 yards from the cabin to be exact. It was still a fun few days.
