South Dakota Turkey Hunt

    It’s about this time of year I am absolutely stir crazy. So what’s the remedy for my sickness? A Wood, South Dakota Turkey Hunt of course.

    Weather made it a tough hunt early, but with 80 degree blue bird skies and picture perfect conditions upon us, those gobblers broke out of the big groups. Once that happened, they started coming to the calls in true SD style.

    Pictured here is my double from Friday!

    9 of us ended the trip with 13 birds.

    Now it’s time to get out on the water!

    Super cool, very nice birds Chad! Glad to hear the weather was good. That’s been half the problem lately.
