As my whitetail season comes to a end , I can’t help to get my mind off of chasing those big boss Toms 
. Here it is January time too dust off those calls maybe try a new one or two or just rely on the ol slate . Myself I like to have a locator call , two mouth calls , slate , and a box . Calling turkeys have been a passion of mine since I was a young boy . I’m so intrigued by the different tones a Tom an a Hen can make.
Has anyone just sat an listen too all the different tones an wondered why that bird is making that sound ? What calls do you guys use an why ?
