It was what appeared to be a turkey egg(Off white slightly larger than a chicken egg)It was on high ground. we were about 15′ from her as she crossed county road. we had to stop and let her cross in front of us. it was an egg… just wondering if anyone else had witnessed anything like this?

Never heard of that – I would not even think a turkey could get a egg that size into it mouth – CRAZY !!!!!

Crazy stuff Bob, can’t say I’ve heard of it or have ever seen it.

Was just talking to a local farmer friend near Durand this morning, and he mentioned a turkey that was swimming in a lake near him while he was fishing. The bird was spooked off a hillside by a hunter, crash landed in the water, and swam like a duck.

Two crazy turkey stories in a single day!
