    Ya right…

Theycan be known to hit some unreal bait sizes. I’ve taken river crappies trolling a #13 rap stick bait.

I just saw a pic of a real pig crappie this morning….almost 16 inches.

Congrats! Where do you aim on the bird? I am taking my bow out this coming week and was told aim for where the wing meets the body. Sound ok?

It’s better to be high on a bird than low and pass through the meat of the breast. It’s hard to kill them that way. Good luck!!

Hit them high, watch them die.

Hit them low, watch them go.

Back side, the butt hole… Front side, a bit lower than where the feathers start on the neck… Broadside, front middle of the bird.

Some one told me that you when you shoot broadside, just above the wings to keep them from flying (sorry, I giggled at that), cause in most cases with a close shot you’re probably going to pass through…

A good shot will kill them, just gotta hope they die fast!!!

Thanks for the visual Looking forward to the morning. My daughter (9) is tagging along with me. Figured a day in the woods with dad is just as much of a learning experience as a day in class
