The staff at iDohunting.com is excited to announce our first Spring Turkey video contest. The rules are simple. You must be a member of iDohunting.com to enter the contest. You have two ways to win a Command Post ground blind from Covert Tactical Hunting Blinds.
Category 1:
Raw footage: Meaning no editing, no music, no scripts, and no deleted scenes. This category is for those who choose to keep it simple…. Turkey and mashed potatoes if you will. All that’s required is a camera and a hunter! Not everyone has the time or skills to put an edited video together. That’s fine with us! Enter your video whether you harvest a bird or not. Put your hunting partner behind the lens or go out alone; either way we want to see it. As hunters ourselves, we understand the time and perseverance doesn’t always end with a bird taken. We would like to see it anyway. That’s part of hunting. A documentary of your hunt is always welcome!
Category 2:
Edited footage: Do you want to a little extra time in front of the camera? Do you want to add music, captions, visual effects, etc to really show people your hard work doesn’t just stop when you get back to the truck? Then this category is for you! Condense your whole season or just one hunt in to a single entry and submit it! We want to see what you can do!
There is no minimum time limit for any video entry. We do ask that you keep your entries to no more than 30 minutes. We want to make sure everyone can find time to watch all entries before voting. Tell everyone you know to visit the site, become a member, and cast their vote. Voting polls will open once the video submission deadline has been reached, June 20th. This will give everyone a chance to look over all the entries. Each member can cast a vote per category.
To get started on entering your video, look for the video entry post in the Turkey Forum. Once you have uploaded your video to a hosting site, an admin will embed your video after review.
Good luck!
