Thanks for the report. glad ya got into a few. I will call ya in a few weeks and get directions to the boat ramp from ya Iam not sure iI remember how to get there. My new boat came in wed , but they sent the wrong one Now its suppose to be the 13 of sept. By then you should have the dozen or so walleye that came down here from pool 14 caught and there wont be any left for me

Sounds like you had a great day on the water. I sure like those hair jigs this time of year. I’ll talk to you Monday at work.

Now I’m really jealous! I pounded the water on Sunday, caught everything under the sun EXCEPT for walleye…trolled the wing dams and current seams, pitched jigs to the current seams, worked over the bridge pilings etc. Fished deep, fished shallow. Got a late start, am really hoping to pin the blame on that. Otherwise, I’ll have to start re-thinking the idea that I ever knew how to catch a walleye.
Regardless, I’m glad SOMEBODY is finding a few. Just enough incentive to keep pounding the water! Thanks for the report!

I went to Nebraska for the archery turkey opener on March 25th and was lucky enough to score on this nice tom. He had a 9″ beard, a 6″ beard and a 1″ beard that was just starting to become visible. He had 1 3/8″ spurs. I used a Carbon Element and a a Easton FMJ with the new Rage 3 blade turkey head. It is a great head, the bird didn’t take a step and was finished in seconds. It was a great hunt and my second NE archery turkey.
