Looking at the calendar alot lately. April 28th cannot come soon enough. The bow is ready, the calls are ready. Hope the birds cooperate. 
I start scouting my uncles land and trying to get a spot picked out for my blind.
I won’t be hunting until May 8th or after, so I’m doing my best to NOT look a calendar and remind myself how far away that really is. 
Kooty–Bears are out here and season starts April 15th. Jump on-line grab yourself a bear tag and head west. You can get a bear under your belt before turkey even opens there!
