Very little gobbling at flydown this morning sans what an angry crow or two made happen. Early fly-down as well. Saw plenty of birds later in the field, but those toms are glued to the hens in my neck of the woods at least for now.

    What’s everyone else seeing?

The birds I saw yesterday were strutting for the hens.

Same thing Joel. Toms no longer seem to be in the bachelor groups and the ones I have seen this last week have all been with hen groups and strutting hard.

Seen a single strutter last night on my way home. No hens around either. Hoping for a break at work to hit NE next week.

All the toms around here are locked up on a hen like a boy to his prom date! While scouting this morning I found a lot of nests with hens sitting on eggs already
