Schucks
It looks like it is time to get a new boat instead.
Seriosuly, I have had 2 loans from Bob and CCFCU and the service is top notch, his rates are the best I found when I looked and the ease of the whole process is even better! I highly reccomend Bob and CCFCU.
July 22, 2008 at 12:16 pm #1435424I have 2 loans through Bob as well! an ATV and as of last week, a Camper. Also had a boat loan through them that has been paid off. Bob is the best to work with!!!

April 26, 2011 at 4:29 pm #211373Well I guess you can say both my Dad and I got this bird. Last Wednesday while hunting in Central Wisconsin (Medford) we had this Tom come into the decoys at 7:00am. Wouldn’t you know it, he stops when he sees the decoys (probably thought they were albino…see first pic.), right behind a huge oak tree which is in my Dad’s line of sight. We sat there for what seemed like a 1/2 hour thinking he must have spooked and walked directly away from us. Then I seen him backtracking and finally stepped into a lane for the shot. At 20yds my Dad fired what was to be the killing shot, but the bird jump up, and took off running with his wings fully extended. Dad emptied his Weatherby 2 3/4″ and the Tom never missed a stride. As we looked at each other wondering what happened, you almost had to laugh. Dad was out of shells so he headed back to the truck. I said I was going to track it to see if there was any blood. Upon inspection, his first shot hit a small sapling half way to the Tom, but a few pellets must have hit him also. I tracked this bird a good 200 yards down a ravine and across a green cedar swamp. I was just about ready to give it up when the tracks finally slowed to a walk. I went another 50 yards, when all of a sudden he comes out from under a cedar and tries to take off. (Time to clean out my shorts) I shoot and roll him over. I’m thinking Great, we got em. He gets up and takes of running again and tries to hide under another pine tree. As he stretched his neck out to see where I was, I finally put the kill shot on him. He was 20# 3/4″ spurs and a 9 1/2 inch beard. I told you it was a comedy of errors. This was the only bird we seen in our season. We did hear others, but never got a visual. I think the winter up North had a big impact on them.

April 26, 2011 at 5:12 pm #105471I love the decoy pics as ours looked the same way in Arcadia…full of snow! Congrats to your dad and you for a nice bird. And great job sticking with him and hunting him down!
April 26, 2011 at 6:37 pm #105484Very cool hunt, and tracking is probably the only good thing that can come from snow during a turkey hunt!
Congrats to the both of you!
