Turkey Seasons

    Anyone tell me why they split up turkey season into “x” number of seasons? If you draw a tag – why don’t they just give you the entire season to bag your bird? Thoughts on that?

    I’m guessing so that not everyone is out hunting the same season at the same time. Limits the number of hunters in a certain area.

    Yup to try and control the number of hunters in the woods at the same time

    Yeah there is some goofy people out there. I wouldn’t want to wander threw woods in camo with thousands of other guys in camo with guns.

    Im glad they split it up That’s why i hunt the last two weeks of the season with a bow b/c it’s a two week season
