Wandering Hens

    Today is one of the first days I’ve seen lone hens out wandering some distance from traditional feeding/breeding grounds. It’s at least the first day I’ve seen more than just a few do it. Hopefully from here out nesting conditions are favorable and the weather holds off, as I’m guessing that’s what most of them were up to.

    I seen the same thing this afternoon Joel seen 6 different hens out wandering.

    We had seen a couple last week during our season Joel.

    Not here ,most of them have love sick Toms with them

    Checked cameras today no loners here yet
